Jit is the co-founder of Leapfrog Academies (Leapfrog Early Learning Academy and Leapfrog Academy of Excellence). Leapfrog focuses on providing high quality, innovative childcare in low-income areas, for children aged six weeks to twelve years old. He has been in business since 2008, and has since grown the academy from seventeen children and two staff, to two-hundred children and thirty five staff over two locations. Jit has a BA in Economics from the University of Leicester, England, and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Jit enjoys practising mixed martial arts in his spare time.
Naz is an Executive Health & Wellness Coach and founder of Prananaz Inc., an integrative health and wellness service leading executives and their teams to achieve greater well-being and tap into their highest potential for creativity, vitality, and success. She received her training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City and NLP Marin. She is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Certified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner and holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to starting Prananaz, she spent over a decade working for Fortune 500 companies from high-tech to pharmaceuticals, including Apple, Yahoo, and AstraZeneca. She leads workshops and retreats and works with clients globally. Naz resides in New York City and loves practicing yoga, meditating, and adventure travel.
Paul is an ACA trained accountant with more than twelve years audit and industry experience. Paul started his career as a trainee auditor in London and has spent the past eight years working for a FTSE 250 Insurance company. The first 6 years were spent in Bermuda in the position as Financial Controller. In 2013 he relocated back to London with his family and took up the position of Assistant Group Financial Controller. Paul enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three young children.
Neha is a board certified pediatrician who currently works in the Emergency Room for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Augusta State University in Augusta, GA. Then, she went on to pursue her medical career at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta GA, where she also completed her medical training in the field of Paediatrics. She has a great passion for the children of Rise2Shine and wants to lend her skills to the malnourished children of Haiti who have no access to food, education and healthcare.
Jayson currently serves as READ Global’s Director of Strategic Partnerships, where he helps to solicit and steward some of READ’s largest in-country and global fundraising as well as programmatic partnerships. In this role, Jayson also oversees several of READ’s top strategic initiatives. Prior to joining READ, Jayson worked as an independent consultant for several leading domestic and international organizations, including READ Global, Kiva, and Summer Search. Jayson spent 7 years scaling Room to Read’s fundraising efforts from $5 million to $42 million. During this time, he spent four years building out the organization’s global Corporate and Foundation Team, personally raising over $15 million and managing the organizations top corporate and foundation relationships. He spent his last two years overseeing Room to Read’s entire fundraising operations – some 35 staff in 7 offices around the world raising $40+ million – as Acting Chief Development Officer and Deputy CDO. Jayson began his career as an Investment Banker for Credit Suisse First Boston in New York and Australia, where he worked on a range of deals including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and debt. He left banking in 2001 and spent three years backpacking around the world. Jayson holds a Bachelor’s Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
Lisa Polk is an early childhood educational coach and consultant. She has twenty years of experience as birth to five teacher, director, regional director, child care program owner and accreditation facilitation project leader and director of the Georgia Alliance for Quality Child Care. Lisa is a state certified Level 3 trainer, the highest that Georgia awards with special designations to teach the Child Development Associate Credential and Director Training. She is an adjunct professor at Chattahoochee Technical College. Lisa currently serves as the Vice President of Public Policy and Community Awareness for the Georgia Association on Young Children and has held other leadership positions with the Georgia Child Care Association and sat on the Stakeholder’s Board for Zero to Three’s Court Teams Project in Douglasville, Georgia. She has also participated on other State Committee’s impacting early childhood practice. Lisa holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Services from Mercer University and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University and currently working on her Doctoral degree in Education with a focus on Teacher Leadership. Lisa resides in Atlanta, Georgia and enjoys spending time with friends, movies, and being outdoors.
